The FOSA VacBrew Ultimate is an innovative 500ml vacuum-assisted coffee brewer designed to prepare both hot coffee and rapid cold brew using a combination of immersion and vacuum extraction.
Instead of relying solely on long steeping times, VacBrew uses a vacuum pump to create approximately -0.5 bar pressure, pulling the brewed coffee through its filtration system after immersion. VacBrew states that this process can produce cold brew in as little as 12 minutes.
The timer vacuum pump provides three automatic steeping programs: 5 minutes, 8 minutes and 12 minutes. A fourth manual mode allows the vacuum process to begin immediately.
Its brewing chamber has a 500ml capacity and uses BPA-free Tritan construction capable of handling temperatures up to 100°C / 212°F, allowing the system to be used for both hot and cold brewing. A reusable metal filtration system provides a reusable alternative to disposable paper filters.
