The CAFEC T-92 is a roast-specific coffee paper filter developed specifically for light-roasted coffee, with a paper structure designed to control water flow and help bring out aroma while producing a clean cup.
Unlike CAFEC filters with crepe on both surfaces, the T-92 features no crepe on the inside and crepe on the outside. The smoother internal surface provides fewer paths for water as fine coffee particles accumulate, causing water to remain in contact with the coffee for longer. CAFEC associates this behavior with enhanced aroma extraction.
On the outside, the crepe structure allows the extracted coffee to flow smoothly toward the dripper. The paper itself has a high density, helping capture fine coffee particles and produce a cleaner final cup.
CAFEC specifies 92°C as the recommended brewing temperature for this Light Roast filter.
