LeBrew RoastSee Fusion Coffee Analyzer
The LeBrew RoastSee Fusion is a professional multi-parameter coffee analyzer designed to bring several essential coffee quality-control measurements into one portable instrument.
Rather than using separate instruments for roast color, green-coffee moisture, density, and water activity, RoastSee Fusion integrates all four functions into one system. This makes it particularly useful for coffee roasters, green-coffee buyers, quality-control teams, processing facilities, and coffee laboratories.
For roasted coffee, the Fusion uses an upgraded multispectral VIS + NIR sensor to analyze roast color. It can measure both whole roasted beans and ground coffee, with an Agtron range up to 0–150 and 0.01-level resolution.
For green coffee, the unit combines moisture and density measurement using adaptive multi-frequency capacitance technology with temperature compensation. It also includes water-activity analysis using LeBrew's inverted water-film method and time-series prediction system.
4 Core Coffee Measurements
Roast Color (Agtron) — Measures roast degree in whole roasted beans and coffee powder, helping roasters monitor consistency between batches.
Moisture — Measures moisture in green coffee to support quality assessment and storage management.
Density — Provides bean-density data useful when evaluating green coffee and understanding its potential roasting behavior.
Water Activity (aw) — Evaluates available water in green coffee, an important parameter for storage stability and microbial-risk management.
Environmental Monitoring
RoastSee Fusion also monitors the surrounding environment:
Temperature: 10–60°C, ±1°C
Humidity: 0–100% RH, ±2% RH
Altitude: −10 to 8,800m
These measurements can provide additional environmental context when making roasting decisions.
